Hermen,

thank you for the response. The CO2 chart is from NASA and is located on this site: http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/catalog/PIA11194. You can find other charts on their main CO2 chart directory: http://www-airs.jpl.nasa.gov/image_gallery/gases/carbon_dioxide/.

I am working on a new post that is more related to the real threats as you mention them in your commentary. Hope to post soon. Maybe you like to subscribe to get notified when things are changing around here (as you might have realized, updates have been a bit sparse recently).

thanks again for stopping by and the reassuring comment!

Michel,

I was browsing the web for a graph that shows local CO2 levels on earth, because I wanted to see if there was any relation with vegetation. Thank you for posting it, and how stunning the correlation with where the deserts are!
Can you tell me from which source you got it?
I totally agree that reforestation and stop cutting trees
is the best remedy for our real problems: To secure our food and water supply and maintain biodiversity. In addition, our industry should worry about their emission of real poisonous gases and waste, instead of CO2. Interesting line of thought, I hope to see more

the effect of Global Warming these days is even worst. i think every government should pass stricter laws on Carbon Emissions. we should also concentrate more on renewable energy sources and avoid fossil fuels.
